Lanyonscapes was well established as a commercial Landscaping and irrigation Company when the first hydromulch unit was purchased in 1992. Gradually hydromulching and seeding became a bigger part of the business and today this is the main focus.

These areas usually involve stabilisation of cut and fill batters and drainage systems; revegetation of disturbed areas and borrow pits; or creation of buffer zones.

Many major projects now require creek or stream diversions because of construction or mining activities. Lanyonscapes have been involved with the revegetation and stabilising of many of these diversions throughout Queensland and have considerable expertise in this field.

Dust suppression is also an important aspect on many sites and hydromulching or dust suppressants are used for this purpose on jobs such as subdivisions, airports, cleared areas and stockpiles.

Some projects require additional protection such as installation of erosion control blankets or matting. Lanyonscapes has the capability to complete the entire project including matting, topsoil, and hydromulching; or apply the hydromulch onto the area as prepared by the client.
